Are you our partner?

We are looking for ambitious entrepreneurs who want to contribute to a cool and daring social Moonshot. Are you not afraid of failing, changing the way (or having it changed) and do you want to make it unrealistic realistic?

Working with Moonshots!

We all know the Moonshot "We choose to go to the Moon" by John F. Kennedy who in 1961 inspired the Americans to be the first to put a man on the moon. It was not the first Moonshot and certainly not the last, but perhaps the most famous Moonshot 🙂

A Moonshot focuses on ambitious, daring and at the same time realistic social goals. This way of working is popular because it provides a more effective, inspiring and broadly mobilizing approach in the search for solutions to increasingly urgent social challenges.
It is a contemporary and increasingly applied way to make progress, with a stronger involvement and co-creating and co-designing role for society.

And, last but not least, it creates new markets and new economic opportunities based on the solutions generated by the mission-driven policy.

What does a good Moonshot meet?

A Moonshot must meet the following five requirements:

  1. Bold and inspiring with broad social relevance
  2. Clear direction: goal-oriented, measurable and time-bound
  3. Ambitious with focus on research and innovation actions
  4. Multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral
  5. Multiple bottom-up solutions

SVB & Moonshot

The SVB has an important social function in the Netherlands. It is therefore appropriate to realize a bold and social Moonshot that really makes a difference to citizens.

In April 2019 we have the first session in which we, together with the SVB, will make a first step in coming up with various possible Moonshots. We plan to start our first Moonshot project after the summer and will therefore investigate with which relevant partners we can collaborate.

Do you think you can contribute to our Moonshots?

Do you have an inspiring Moonshot idea of your own? Let us know!
